Why blogging?

Why start a blog anyways? Who blogs anymore?

Well, I haven't in ages, but I would like to.

I have too many thoughts in my mind, and they don't always fit into the appropriate social media box. This way, my thoughts can come here to die, and I can get them to stop bouncing around inside of my skull.

I am not a professional anything at this time. I just want a place that I can call my own.
